Let's slow down time and preserve all the little details. From your newborn's tiny fingers wrapped around yours, to the funny way your toddler scrunches up their face when laughing, to the way your kindergartner lights up when they talk about dinosaurs, to the love your family has for each other. Let's freeze it all.

"The whole session was just a blast, we never had to force a smile, and the photos reflect every bit of that fun and energy. They captured the spirit and joy of my kids so perfectly that I actually teared up looking through them. What I loved most about working with Laura was just how easy-going and creative she was. She really knew how to make the whole experience fun for my kids and me!

"Laura was amazing! She was so patient with our family, as we have two kids who can take time to get into the right positions. She also photographed us in multiple parts of our home (that we requested) and took her time to make sure the lighting was perfect. Cannot say enough great things about Laura!"
Janet P.
“My son was just a few months old, but Laura knew just how to work with him and keep him in good spirits during the session. My husband and I aren't super comfortable in front of a camera, but Laura made us feel at ease with her calm, reassuring demeanor. The photos themselves turned out beautifully!"
Elizabeth K.
"The photos she took are beautiful and I am looking forward to sharing them with my friends and family. I would highly recommend Laura for anyone wanting some joyful and fun photos of your family."
Sean L.
"Laura came to our backyard and immediately turned it into a photogenic environment that felt like us. She made us feel at ease and was able to keep our little ones engaged. The shots came out beautifully and made us look photogenic and nothing felt staged or fake."
Perfect for families who want to update their photos more frequently, and also a great choice for kids who need short and sweet sessions. These are only offered at certain times and in certain locations. My email list gets
first access.
These sessions allow us to get grandparents, adult siblings, and more in the same session. Because of the extra people and groupings, these sessions require more time than traditional family sessions.
Family sessions allow us to personalize the entire session – from scheduling to location – around your family. Since they're longer than a mini session, we get more time to capture all the family combinations, poses, and details. Ideal for kids who need more time to warm up.

Just click here to let me know that you want to book and tell me if you prefer to communicate via email, video message, text message, or phone call. Once I've answered any and all of your questions, you can easily book online with no lengthy back and forth scheduling process required. I need a signed contract and $300 non-refundable retainer to hold your date. The remaining balance is due seven days before your session.

This is incredibly important to allow me to prepare the personalized prompts and games for your session (you know, all the fun stuff that allows me to get the best expressions!).
I love capturing families in their natural environment: their home. Everyone is typically relaxed and comfortable and it makes it very easy to get kids laughing and playing when they're in a familiar environment. Because I am able to use both natural light and portable studio lighting, I am very flexible when it comes to scheduling in-home sessions, though I find that late morning is often a sweet spot for happy, well-rested kids and parents.
For outdoor sessions, it's preferable to schedule those at a time when the sun won't be too high so that the light on your family will be pretty and flattering. I typically try to begin my outdoor sessions 1-2 hours before sunset whenever possible. If this won't work for your kiddos' schedule, though, let's talk about options – whether that's scheduling an indoor session, or moving your outdoor session to an earlier time of day.
Ultimately, making sure that kids – and their grownups – are happy and comfortable is the most important thing when it comes to scheduling.
Rain happens; kids get sick; I get it! If someone in your family gets sick, please reach out to me and we can discuss what makes the most sense, but usually it's best to reschedule when everyone is healthy. Similarly, if the weather looks bad and you have an outdoor session scheduled, reach out to me and we can discuss your options.
Your images will be ready within two weeks, unless more extensive retouching is involved.
I do light editing on every single image to ensure that you and your loved ones look as wonderful in your final images as you do in person. This includes ensuring that the colors and tones are beautiful in each image. I will also remove any minor, temporary imperfections, if requested, such as a small scratch or a random pimple.
If there is a specific situation requiring more extensive editing – such as a request for a head swap – I am happy to provide that service for an additional charge. Please reach out if you have specific questions about my editing process.
Only if you want me to! Most clients love having their sessions featured on the blog and getting to see sneak peeks on social media. That said, if you don't want me to share, I will always respect that. The choice is yours.
When you receive your gallery, you will also receive a link to my online store, where I offer beautiful products to help you display your memories.
Feel free to reach out to me if there is a specific product that you would like to purchase that I don't offer in my store. As a professional photographer, I have access to lots of custom products from the best labs, and I am always happy to help my clients.

I still can't believe how fast my kids are growing. Snapshots on my phone are nice, but nothing makes me happier than to look back on a gorgeous photo of our whole family, just as we were in that moment. I would love to create these photos for your family.
